We are a multi trade commercial service company based in Pittsburgh. We are an extremely fast growing company. We are in need of a confident, mentally strong, outgoing person who can manage many aspects of a growing service company. Someone with experience in the trades would be ideal but not mandatory.

Somebody with experience in management or business ownership is a big plus.

This position has many responsibilities. As we continue to grow, additional people will be hired to take some of these responsibilities when one person can no longer manage them all.

The HR part consists of this:

Conducting interviews or potential new hires. Assisting with this at first, then on your own after awhile.

Assist service managers in handing out discipline to their staff, write ups, and suspensions, and even terminations.

Keeping track of employee days off.

This person also sends out a daily email to all office personnel stating who is off for the day, who has vacations or birthdays coming up, etc.

Vehicle Fleet Management:

This position manages our fleet of vehicles, making sure the technicians are getting their oil changed regularly, maintaining clean vehicles, making sure the fleet gets registered each year, the EZ pass transponders, etc.

When the technicians have an accident, this is the person they call to ask what to do next.

Office Manager:

We are searching for someone who can oversee a team of service managers.

We currently have 3 service managers, who each have a team of 4-7 technicians working in the field for them, and will most likely have 1-2 more service managers before years end due to the growth of our business.

We need someone to make sure these managers have the tools they need to succeed, whether it is office needs, paperwork needs, or anything at all. But also to make sure they are providing the best management possible. Making sure they are current with jobs and quotes. Making sure they are using top of the line customer service to our clients, and making sure they are continuing to make the company look good and grow.

Much of the management of the service managers is handling the General Managers requests of things to the Service Managers.

This person would also coordinate continuity between the billing department and the service department. Making sure the managers are having their techs do good paperwork for example.

As the service managers continue to grow, this position may turn into an Operations Manager and no longer handle HR and fleet management. There are many possibilities as we grow.

Sales:

Depending on who is hired to fill the position, there are also sales calls to be done. This is where a little bit of experience in the trades is a big help. But this portion does not make or brake an applicants.

If we find a person who can perform the above management and still go on a few sales calls a week until we hire a full time sales person later this year that would be ideal.

We provide the leads and the sales call are always to potential clients who already are aware of us and want to hear more about us and the high level of multi-trade commercial service work we provide. You will not have to find your own leads, just visit with the leads provided to you.

This is a salary position.

It comes with a phone allowance, paid vacation, and health insurance paid for 75% by the company after 60 days.

Salary determined by experience.
