Job Title: Customer Service/Healthcare Representative
Location: Pittsburgh, PA 15238/ Monroeville, PA 15146
Duration: 2 - 3+ months
Shift Timings: Monday Friday & 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM / 9:00am to 5:30pm EST Monday through Friday
Position Summary
As a technician, you need to assure complete, timely and accurate documentation of all coverage determinations in conjunction with Medicare guidelines. As a pharmacy technician in this role you will need to possess the ability to interact with a diverse patient and physician base in a professional manner and to work in a team environment.
Duties
Customer service focus. Basic experience in MSWord and MS Excel. Familiar with medical terminology and knowledge of medical coding. Ability to read and interpret medical documents.
The position also requires an extensive amount of data entry work.
Experience
6 months of customer service and/or call center experience
Excellent customer service skills (written and verbal)
Basic PC skills required
Proficient in Windows applications (Word and Excel)
Proficient use of keyboard, mouse and ability to navigate 2 monitors
Ability to type more than 30 WPM
6+ months of healthcare/ customer service experience
Problem solving skills, analytical ability
Strong written communication and interpersonal skills
Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills
Education
Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
