Job Title: Application Engineer III (Java Engineer)

Location: Remote in Pittsburgh, PA (Will be onsite two days a week starting Jan. before that can work remote.)

Duration: 12 months contract-to-hire.

Interview Mode: Phone + video

- Ensure date is processed, integrated and delivered effectively to consumers
- Critical app
- Java 8+ is backbone of application, basically good developer who knows back-end well and has worked in containerized microservices environment. Spring/Spring Boot and Kafka are core requirements.
- Containerized microservices application
- Background with snowflake as well as Azure are nice to have
- Candidate will have to code in interview, one round of interview with multiple ppl, 1.5 hours or a max of 2 hours
- Will be migrating application into snowflake for project (one initiative, biggest at the moment)
- Risk and Resiliency stream as well, fixing all enterprise issues (another initiative)
- Enhancements, completing items in back log (another initiative)
- Production Services stability (another initiative)
- Pittsburgh local candidate ideal, if candidate can relocate by Jan. is okay; can start remote though will need to be in office 2 to 3 days a week by Jan. Any candidate who is not local will need to hit all areas of interest to be considered.
