Job Details
Responsibilities for the DevOps Software Developer / DevOps Cloud Engineer are as follows:
Maintain and improve DevOps systems and pipelines, such as CI/CD
Assist in conceptualizing and rolling out new systems and designs
Collaborate with engineering teams to promote a development workflow that combines stability and agility
Disseminate knowledge of best practices and develop workflows to fulfill company goals
Fulfill end-user development workflow requirements in a ticket-based system
Work with IT staff to set up stable and usable systems
General Qualifications for the DevOps AWS Engineer are as follows:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar discipline, or significant and relevant professional experience
2+ years of professional software programming, DevOps, or IT experience
Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline tools, such as Git, GitLab, Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, Bamboo), Artifactory, Ansible, Puppet, etc.
Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker, Kubernetes, or EKS
Familiarity with Ubuntu packaging processes (Debian, apt, etc)
Fluent in Linux
Knowledge of how to write and test software
Preferred Qualifications of the DevOps Software Programmer:
Linux systems administration
Amazon Web Services or other cloud service administration experience
C software development
Python or other scripting language
Google Test or similar Code Testing Framework
