With revenues of $22 billion and the largest investment in R&D in the industry, we give our people the resources and opportunities to make significant contributions to the world.Position Summary: Global Paid Search Manager, Corporate Digital MarketingThe Global Paid Search Manager is a key member of the Corporate Digital Marketing Team and will be responsible for creating paid search strategies as well as planning, managing, optimizing, and analyzing paid search activities. The ideal candidate will be passionate about digital marketing and be the paid search evangelist throughout the company, have a strong paid search management background, and a strong background in project management. You must be able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but you can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done. You will also be excellent at driving results, being able to coordinate large, multi-functional projects on-time, anticipate bottlenecks, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints. You will demonstrate excellent leadership skills that map to Thermo Fisher Scientific core competencies. As a member of the Corporate Digital Marketing team, you will work across groups, divisions, business units, and regions in a highly matrixed environment.Based in our corporate offices in Pittsburgh, PA or Carlsbad, CA.What will you do?

Paid search strategy: Responsible for the overall strategy, delivery and driving improvements for the paid search program. You will be the paid search expert at Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Expansion of paid search program: Create and communicate strategies across different organizations for new opportunities in the company and align teams to a common goal. Experience with Shopping Ads and Retargeting required. Previous experience participating in Google betas a plus.

Paid search account set up audits: Create and link new accounts as needed, audit and monitor accounts to drive improvement across the organization. Conduct detailed paid search needs assessment, define requirements and timelines.

Maintain paid search program: Maintain the most up-to-date knowledge of paid search best practices and strategies.

Consultation and training: Act as an internal strategic point of contact for paid search strategies and train groups of all skill levels on best practices.

Budget & Forecasting: Process paid search invoices and ensure vendors are paid on time, budgets are on pace and KPIs are being met. Work with divisions on budget setting best practices.

Audience Creation: Be a member of the audience team that creates segmentation strategies that include depth, duration, frequency, event interaction, channel, geo, device, network, creative and more.

Communication: Collaborate with various teams to effectively drive all aspects of Digital Advertising.

Project Management: Demonstrated ability for being detail-oriented, self-motivated and driving follow-through.

Vendor Management: Work closely with vendors, ensure service requirements are clearly understood and all service delivery expectations are defined.

Reporting: Proactively review & assess performance metrics and suggest recommendations to improve paid search program. Administer daily, weekly and monthly reporting on all paid search program data. Establish KPI’s and set up web analytics dashboard reports.

Working with the Digital Marketing Analytics team to determine the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and channels through KPI management and ROI marketing metrics.

How will you get here?

BS degree required; emphasis in business, marketing and/or ecommerce preferred.

5+ years search engine marketing experience managing large-scale accounts with six figure monthly budgets.

Experience training paid search teams on campaign strategies and best practices.

Experience working with enterprise level web analytics tools. Adobe Analytics experience preferred.

Experience with enterprise level paid search portfolio management platforms. Adobe Media Optimizer preferred.

Demonstrate the ability to perform well and remain organized under tight deadlines. Project management platform / software experience a plus.

Demonstrate the ability and willingness to work together as a team

Knowledge with visualization packages, including Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio

Knowledge with tag management systems (e.g., Adobe DTM, Ensighten)

Strong Microsoft Office skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
