Responsible for managing communications and providing administrative support to Managing Loan Officers and Branch Manager/Team Leader as necessary in a fast-paced environment. Includes contract to close duties and pre-qualification of clients. Requires state and federal licensing as outlined below. The following duties may ONLY be performed by licensed partners:

Provides answers and/or explanations in response to general consumer inquiries or questions (i.e. what does LTV or PMI stand for?)

Provides explanations for mortgage terminology questions by consumers

Describes UHM mortgage products

Assists a borrower who is filling out an application by explaining the contents of the application and where particular borrower information is to be provided on the application

Offers or negotiates loan terms to a prospective borrower

Re-negotiates loan terms with a borrower

Provides a pre-qualification or pre-approval to a prospective borrower

Conducts a face to face or telephone interview for purpose loan application and discussing and or negotiating loan terms

Licensed in accordance with the Safe Act as a mortgage loan originator on the NMLS in the state in which they originate loan applications

The following duties are shared between both licensed and unlicensed and may or may not be performed based on specific job role.

Answers all incoming calls to the Managing LO and obtains basic identifying information about a prospective borrower on behalf of the LO (i.e. name, address, contact information, purpose of call, etc.

Sets and confirms appointments with clients, realtors and business partners

Initiates contact with new leads and realtors and ask for an appointment to meet with Managing Loan Officer

Assists a borrower who is filling out an application by explaining the contents of the application and where particular borrower information is to be provided on the application

Sends thank you letters and miscellaneous notes on new loan applications, referral sources, weekly closings, lunch appointments, etc.

Works with operations staff in aspects of the loan process or closing

Coordinates with realtors and title company to arrange the closing

Communicates on a regular basis with borrower and realtor providing loan status updates

Receives UHM requested borrower documentation and forwarding to appropriate Partner and/or department

Creates, updates and maintains social media (i.e., Managing LO Facebook page)

Updates and maintains marketing (SAM) database and utilizes database to maintain regular contact with borrowers

Plans and organizes networking events, including lunches, training programs, etc.

Acts as liaison between borrower and other third parties such as realtor, title company in communication

Contact previous clients to ensure satisfaction with the process and to determine if there is anything further the Managing LO can do to help with their debt management process

Maintains regular contact with Managing Loan Officer on status of all active files

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent

2-4 years of mortgage experience

NMLS

SKILLS

Retail/Wholesale Mortgage Banking Knowledge

Knowledge of all mortgage products, Government and Conventional

Excellent customer service skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Excellent organizational skills

Mortgage software knowledge

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Complete state and federal requirements including but not limited to pre-license education, state and federal testing and federal background checks to obtain an appropriate license to conduct business in all states deemed necessary by the company.

Complete required continuing education deemed necessary by federal, state and company guidelines.

Renew all licenses 30 days in advance of the required renewal time-frame.

Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations

In this role, you\'ll make an impact in the following ways: Manage the day-to-day servicing needs for a portfolio of syndicated loans. Responsible for accurately reviewing, researching, and analyzing, documentation and data related to trades. Confirm pertinent information for lender validations to ensure timely processing of loan trades. Research and resolve loan related issues, handle complex client inquiries and requests, identify, investigate and resolve escalated and/or complex problem loans. Collaborate with tax, closing and servicing teams as necessary. Verify completion and execution of trade documentation (i.e. trade confirmations, transfer certificates, assignment agreements etc.) prior to release of funds for purchases. Conduct call-backs for new lenders and follow appropriate procedures for trades not received via ClearPar to confirm and authenticate trade and money movement instructions. Verify ownership of existing loan positions prior to execution of sale transactions Record, coordinate and process all settlements from purchases and sales, recording relevant trade and asset information. Track purchase/sale price, accrued interest, loan positions, proceeds, etc. Complete audit confirmations, manage position verifications, and research/resolve discrepancies as needed.
