DescriptionThe Manager, Recruitment is responsible to provide leadership for, and manage the day to day work of, the UPMC Enterprises and Translational Sciences recruitment team. This individual is responsible for developing and implementing recruitment strategies for UPMC Enterprises that are rooted in customer and candidate experience. We are looking for strategic recruiting leaders with a commitment to excellence and innovation to lead and act as a brand ambassador for UPMC Enterprises.Responsibilities:

Build and present a diverse pipeline of candidates that possess UPMC's core competencies across multiple skills sets

Conduct annual performance evaluations in a timely manner.

Develop and mentor recruitment staff

Develop metrics and reports to measure success of talent acquisition strategiesand activities

Identify and communicate process improvement opportunities

Identify, execute and partner with nationwide executive search firms

Identify, support, and assist with the planning for external and internal recruitment events in conjunction with the HR Innovation and Experience team, to include travel/attendance at events as needed

In partnership with Campus Recruitment team, manage Campus Recruitment strategy and programs

Lead and manage the daily work flow and recruitment activities for a team of recruitment professionals

Manage the full-cycle talent acquisition process for technical and non-technical positions across all experience levels, from initial sourcing strategy through offer acceptance. Manage the candidate experience throughout the lifecycle of the recruitment process

Partner closely with Chief Talent leader, hiring managers and HR partners to develop and implement talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent in support of business needs

Perform business unit (BU) business site visits as needed to support TA specialists and BU leaders.

Project manage timelines and document the onboarding process in conjunction to our HR, legal and compliance teams

Provide expert consultation and communicate regular updates to hiring managers and candidates on the status of recruitment activities, ensuring transparency in the process

Provide expert knowledge of the current national labor market and help organization anticipate and align talent acquisitions needs to the strategic plan

Remain current with knowledge of UPMC human resource policies and procedures, as well as employment laws.

Responsible for building a culture rooted in dignity and respect and for holding team members accountable to the same

Understand and communicate current vacancies and recruitment priorities

Understand and have the ability to communicate career levels, compensation, benefits, and growth opportunities within UPMC Enterprises

Understand, monitor, and maintain compliance with EEO and OFCCP regulations and internal UPMC policies

QualificationsQualifications:

Bachelors degree in human resources, business, or a closely-related field and five years related experience required

Masters degree is preferred

Three years of recruitment/employment experience required

One year of supervisory experience required

Understand the fundamentals of how to run a recruitment service within a startup company

Create recruitment strategies with the shared services teams

Demonstrated ability to lead teams across functions

Demonstrated leadership skills

Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated interpersonal skills required

Proficient with recruitment related software, and database mining

Oracle/Peoplesoft experience strongly preferred
