Duolingo, Inc. is seeking multiple Product Designers, Interactive Design (Pittsburgh, PA) to author, design, blueprint, and architect functional interfaces for applications and software. Design and architect visual design systems and their components. Apply user research, feedback, user data metrics, and interaction design principles to improve existing designs. Review and validate the quality of interfaces for applications and software utilizing metrics that measure and evaluate the health and effectiveness of system architecture. Authorize, create and adjust application software changes to meet user needs from a human-centered design perspective. Prototype user interactions and animations throughout the design exploration phase. Analyze applications and software metrics to develop short- and long-term strategy. Develop mocks and usability studies and determine product tradeoffs. Local telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.
