Supervise, coordinate, and oversee the development and performance of two team members, focusing on the Independent Store business. Manage direct reports by reviewing completed work as necessary, assisting in the resolution of problems that arise and performing annual reviews.
Supervise the Independent Store general ledgers ensuring financial accuracy, timely balance sheet reconciliation and proper journal entry support.
Supervise the monthly closing process for the Independent Store business by analyzing, interpreting and preparing accurate and timely financial information.
Provide accounting support to Retail Development, Store Owners, Tax Accountants and Corporate Departments. Serve as an accounting resource for projects, issues, and questions.
Supervise and assist with special projects and analyses as directed by the immediate supervisor to meet requirements
Lead the active review of Independent Store Accounting functions to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the team's processes and goals.
Prepare and review all stores proformas and operational reporting.
Assist other Team Members in the department, as needed, to ensure efficient operation of the department.
Frequent communication with Store Owners to review financial statements with owners and store managers, including store visits.

Ensure that the financial information to the Independent Store owners is in-line with current GAAP guidance. Supervise, prepare and review accurate and timely financial information for Retail Development, Store owners and Tax Accountants monthly.
