Join the team at The Café at the Frick! We're looking for a part-time dishwasher, mostly day time hours. See below for additional details.
Reports to: Chef/Café Manager
Hours: Tuesday through Sunday, daylight, no set schedule, some evening hours
Part-time, hourly
Responsibilities:
⢠Run dishes and flatware through the dishwasher, and operate the disposal
⢠Identify items that go in the dishwasher and those that do not
⢠Change the detergent and rinse dry
⢠Keep Dawn dish detergent and bleach stocked
⢠Let management know if any chemicals needed for the dish machine are running low
⢠Keep buspan empty of dishes
⢠Change water in the dishwasher regularly
⢠Clean dishes and silverware and utensils and return them to their proper places
⢠Soak and scrub the pots in sink and return them when done
⢠Scrub the sink and clean your work area before the end of your shift
⢠Clean the floor under dishwasher and dirty dish area at the end of your shift
⢠Clean the door that leads in from the dining room at the end of your shift
⢠Maintain the dishwasher in a clean condition
⢠Work quickly and quietly
⢠Other duties, as requested by staff or management
Qualifications:
⢠Previous restaurant experience preferred
⢠Flexibility in working a varied schedule
⢠Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively deal with visitors and staff
⢠Able to work closely and effectively with The Café environment
⢠Enthusiastic and positive attitude
⢠Clearance of a criminal background check
