The Rivers Club is looking to hire an energetic and passionate Culinarian to fill a full-time role Monday - Friday daytime & evenings. Applicants should also be willing to work occasional weekends and holidays for events. Preferred to have culinary education and 3+ years line experience in strong high-end casual/white tablecloth restaurants. Competitive wage, benefits and great work place.
The Rivers Club in One Oxford Centre is the downtown business and sports club for Pittsburgh's leaders. Founded in 1983 , the club is part of ClubCorp, the world's leader in private clubs and a career in the company exists for the right people. The Club has 75,000 SF of athletics and dining and completed a $5 million reinvention in 2016/2017 on the dining and athletics levels. The club has two dining rooms - a casual bar and upscale dining room, plus 6 private dining rooms, including a 275 seat ballroom. There is also a 55,000 SF athletic level complete with exercise studios, basketball, 4 squash courts, swimming pool and cardio and resistance/weight equipment (employees may use after 60 days of employment).
Position Responsibilities:
Prepare menu items to exact specifications in a timely manner
Cook all meat/fish dishes to perfection (-i.e. desired temperature, etc.)
Superior prep speed and accuracy
Kitchen cleanliness and organization
Lead others by example to accomplish the same
