DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity for Pharmacy Technicians to excel in a complex, team-oriented environment while having the opportunity to develop and strengthen technical skills and pharmacology knowledge. The Non-Clinical Divert technician is responsible for screening orders, and specializes in research and review of prescription overrides. Our technicians are empowered to take ownership of the investigation process, and partner closely with neighboring departments to help support the efficiency and timeliness of the pharmacy workflow. We require our pharmacy technicians to think outside the box and get creative! To help support growth and development, technicians may be asked to perform other pharmacy functions as required. Superb communication skills are needed in order to effectively interact with insurance companies, patients and internal partners to ensure the processing of specialty medications in a timely manner and to ensure all financial and clinical expectations are being met prior to fulfillment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be trained in various areas of the Pharmacy Benefit Management division of CVS Health. Come join CVS Health .where health is everything.QualificationsMinimum of 6 months of Pharmacy Technician experience in a retail or Mail Order pharmacy setting.National Certification (CPhT). Must have strong customer service skills and the ability to empathize and partner with patients.Excellent interpersonal and group communication skills.Working knowledge of computer programs with excellent data entry skills. Must be able to understand and apply basic computer skills and record data accurately.Must understand Pharmaceutical calculations. Must have understanding of basic Pharmacy law and protocols. Must communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external departments, physicians offices and participants. Must be able to make outbound and take inbound calls from patients, vendors and medical personnel.Must feel comfortable working in a fast paced environment.Must be able to adapt and change with pace of work flow.High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)Click Here to Apply!
