Peterson Cartridge Company manufactures brass rifle casings from its facility in Cranberry Township, just north of Pittsburgh, PA. We produce match-grade, rifle casings to the highest quality standards, for competitive shooting.
Due to expansion, we need to hire four more production workers to run our state-of-the-art, lean manufacturing equipment. Two of the positions are 12-hour day shift, and two are 12-hour night shift. You will work Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
You’ll work 36 hours and get paid for 40
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Production line operation
- Data recording
- Adhering to safety and environmental rules
- Drawing metal into shapes and diameters
- Reading and interpreting plant procedures and work instructions
- Performing preventative maintenance inspections and repairs
- Performing general housekeeping
- Feeding and / or placing raw material onto equipment for processing
- Handling materials and cargo
- Measuring dimensions of work-in-process and finished goods
- Ensuring conformance to specifications
Successful candidates will be non-smokers who have the following experience and skills:
Required Experience / Skills
- Five years manufacturing experience, or five years maintenance experience, or five years in a technical rating if prior military experience.
- Able to routinely lift 25 lbs with or without accomodation.
- No conviction record, PFA order against them, or anything else that would prevent them from purchasing or discharging a firearm
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test
- High attention-to-detail; high conscientiousness
