We have a position open for a Wood chop saw operator. The saw operator will be
Cutting pieces of wood to length while cutting out defects such as knots, and cracks from boards.
Inspecting products for quality and removing items that do not meet our customer quality standards.
Visual inspection for quality prior to packaging products per customer order.
Candidates will be cutting small wooden parts for our customers. The candidate will be working with cut off saws, belt sander for making wood components to different length,width and thickness sizes and will be performing quality control checks on all products through visual inspection. This is a production line job.
Requirements for this position include:
Able to read a tape measure.
Standing for long periods of time.
Good math skills.
Able to lift cardboard boxes up to 30 pounds.
Our facility is located in the RJ Casey Industrial Park.
Position is full time .
Starting rate is $12.50/hour.
