POSITION: Home Care Aid (Supports Assistant)
STATUS: Full Time; 40 hours / week + opportunities for overtime available
LOCATIONS AVAILABLE: Robinson, Coraopolis, Moon, Greentree
WAGE: $17 / hour
$2,500 SIGN-ON BONUS
Citizen Care Inc., a subsidiary of Partners For Quality Inc., provides residential, day program, habilitation, supported employment opportunities and behavioral support services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are a non-profit organization, accredited by the Council on Quality & Leadership. Citizen Care has locations throughout the West Hills and South Hills of Allegheny County.
The Supports Assistant (internal title) will be responsible for assisting individuals with their activities of daily living in a residential home setting. Duties include, but are not limited to assisting with:
Personal hygiene
Bathing and toileting
Cooking, meal preparation and feeding
Household chores such as laundry, vacuuming and dusting
Community integration such as shopping, leisurely activities and medical appointments
Passing medications
Assuring the safety and welfare
Engaging in everyday life
QUALIFICATIONS
1. High School Diplomas or GED
2. Reliable transportation
3. Ability to lift and transfer without restriction
4. Covid-19 Vaccine
Experience not required!
WAGES
$17 / hour
$17.25 / hour at 6 months
$17.50 / at one year
