We are successful and growing kitchen remodeling company specializing in countertops and cabinets based in the Pittsburgh metropolitan looking for an administrative assistant to join our team. This position will be supervised and work with other employees, laborers, managers and interface with customers. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to learn correct administrative techniques, construction business, grow in increasing responsibilities and start a successful and well paid career.

The responsibilities for the job are the following,

- Open up office & showroom daily

- Answer phone calls, take messages, manage emails and calendars

- Assist customers with the remodeling process

- Build & provide quotations, contracts and manage payments

- Mange invoices, orders, schedules, receipts, and all other associated documentation

- Provide design assistance

- Bookeeping with Quickbooks

- General upkeep of office and warehouse

Minimum applicant requirements

- communicate with employees, managers, customers and others politely, clearly & promptly

- pass pre-employment drug test

- wear appropriate and presentable clothing to work

- work well with other workers and professional trades

- be on-time every day

- work 8 to 10hrs / day 5 to 7 days per week as needed

Preferred applicant requirements

- experience with construction / manufacturing environment

- experience with kitchen / home design

- English / Mandarin bi-lingual

Base pay $16/hr to $20/hr based on level of experience in meeting job requirements. Commission available for completed sales of services / products up to $2000/month extra! Bonuses available for extraordinary commitment and work ethic.

Pay is bi-weekly, by check only.

We commit ourselves to safety, honesty, professionalism and quality. A successful worker will embody these qualities and perform all the job duties with this attitude in-mind. No tolerance will be given to any worker who perform less. Monday thru Friday schedule with Saturdays and Sundays as needed. Work starts at 8:30am and ends at 5:00pm with 1/2hr lunch and two 15 min breaks per day with additional hours as needed.

Probationary period of 2 weeks at the beginning of employment based on the candidates abilities to complete the job as required. If the candidate passes the probationary period, he/she will be offered full-time employment.

We offer full time employees min. 40hrs / week, 2 weeks paid vacation with 6 paid holidays, health insurance and 3% match on retirement savings.
