Pace Analytical Services, LLC., a leading national analytical laboratory is seeking highly motivated candidates for a Laboratory Technician in the Metals Prep Department at their laboratory in Greensburg, PA.
Responsibilities:
Locate clients' samples from storage and return after use
Perform filtration analysis
Perform metals digestions for ICP and mercury analysis
Perform pH test
Complete data entry
Keep log books up to date
Keep the laboratory clean and safe
Assist with waste sample treatment and disposal
Promote cooperation and teamwork among staff
Follow Pace Analytical Services, LLC. Policies and Standard Operation Procedures
Other duties as deemed necessary by Management
Qualifications:
Position is full time, Monday through Friday, 2pm - 10:30pm, with the possibility of overtime and Saturday hours (Must be able to train on first shift for approximately 4 weeks)
Candidate should have an AS or BS in Science or equivalent years of lab experience
Current and applicable computer skills
The individual should be self-motivated, ambitious, hard working, and able to work independently
Physical requirements include, walking, bending, and carrying. Must also have hand and finger dexterity, and the ability to lift 50 lbs
