Looking for an experienced HVAC technician for service calls for a service company based in Pittsburgh.
We need someone with enough hvac service experience to be able to troubleshoot and repair heating and cooling system breakdowns on their own with their own knowledge, experience, and tools.
They need to be able to assist our office with pricing replacement parts and getting quotes on parts by providing correct part names and part numbers.
Must have valid driver license.
Must be able to pass a drug test if hired.
New higher will get a company van but could also be given vehicle allowance if they already have a service vehicle of their own they prefer to drive.
Gas card included.
Must have own basic hvac hand tools and cordless drill. We provide specialty tools.
Prefer to have 10+ years commercial hvac service experience.
Must be able to troubleshoot problems and find repair solutions on their own.
Part of job duties will be working occasionally with our maintenance crews on site of our customers where we handle all trades.
New hire will be expected to complete neat and correct paperwork for each service call.
Must be available for occasional after hour emergency calls.
Job is full time.
Must be neat, presentable, and have good hygiene.
Must be professional, communicate well, and keep themselves presentable at all times while on the clock.
We supply company shirts that will be required to be worn. Tennis shoes are not permitted
Job pays $28-$30/hour to start with desired experience.
1 week vacation, 6 paid holidays, and 1 PTO day after 6 months.
Health insurance available after 60 days, with partial 75% employer pay.
401k option available after 6 months
