Must be able to prove experience working for an Apartment Management Company. Pittsburgh East seeks qualified maintenance technician to install tile and flooring, plus all phases of maintenance including plumbing and electrical, may have to patch walls and shovel snow in emergency. Rotating weekend schedule. Candidate should live within forty-five minutes of Frick Park. Must have a van or truck and tools (basic hand and power tools) and a clean criminal record.VEHICLE IS A MUST. All work within two miles of office near Frick Park, Edgewood, Swissvale, Wilkinsburg. Must be able to schedule jobs and follow through and order materials and pick them up.Must have three years experience.We are a neighborhood development company seeking individuals who can work well with our team.No travel and no lay offs, we work all year.Signing bonus if meet criteria.6% bonus of entire salary after one year employment. Performance bonus if skill set fits.No health insurance. Full time work all winter.Must be able to carry 80 pounds up four flights and climb a ladder 40 feet.We remodel old apartment units.
Applicable skills:
Patch floors , install ceramic tile, laminate flooring, kitchens and baths, , trim carpentry, artistic renovation of older homes to insure safe rentals. Must have basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems. Need to run 110 volt wires, put in copper pipes, apply wall finish materials, make a list of materials needed and establish a time frame to complete work. We are adding to our staff, must report to supervisor.
Salary includes gas allowance and paid time off and bonus and raise based on performance.$25.00 starting salary. OneYear end bonus 6% .
