Our client, a Nationwide Lender is looking to hire a dynamic and hands on PERMANENT LEAD Full Stack stack Web Developer to join their talented team. You will be responsible for building a greenfield .Net Core/React containerized microservice application in AWS Cloud. Your primary responsibilities will be to design and develop new features and collaborate with the rest of the Scrum team. You will be the hands-on LEAD mentoring team members as well as doing some coding. The successful candidate will be a collaborative problem solver with a passion for building quality products with a sophisticated design.

Experience with some greenfield development and .Net CORE/ React and AWS Cloud being KEY.

Where You're Located 100% REMOTE till June 2021 but then will be required to come into the office 2 times a week so recommended to live within 1 hour radius of Conshohocken, PA

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 8 years of web application development experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a Senior Full Stack Developer utilizing .NET Technologies.
  • Hands on experience building web applications using both .Net Core and a JavaScript framework like React
  • Experience with a cloud provider such as AWS
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles
  • Experience with ORM tools such as Entity Framework or Dapper
  • Familiarity with Docker containers
  • Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server
  • Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
  • Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes
  • Implementation of automated testing platforms and unit tests
  • Experience writing HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
  • Familiarity with continuous integration
  • Experience with Agile software development lifecycle tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering preferred, but will consider equivalent work experience

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable .Net Core code using a cloud first approach in AWS
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
  • Build a React web UI using modern techniques such as hooks and context
  • Build and optimize queries and stored procedures in SQL Server databases
  • Collaborate with, mentor, and perform code reviews for a team of on and offshore developers
  • Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies including sprint plannings, backlog groomings and retrospectives during two-week sprints
