Job Title: Project Manager
BACKGROUND:
we are looking for a team player who can understand complex problems and break it down to explain it in a simple, consumable format. This person understands (or has ability to learn) when there is a barrier to accomplishing a goal or meeting a milestone and the overall impact.
WHAT YOU'LL DO / RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Drive discovery and requirements gathering sessions to document key business needs
• Collaborate with appropriate teams to translate requirements into solution design
• Define and document process maps to show alignment between business and system process
• Develop and drive user acceptance testing
• Own, track and manage project deliverables and milestones leveraging Project Management toolbelt including but not limited to:
o Project Plan
o Status Report
o Communication Plan
o Risk Mitigation Plan
o Decisions / Actions / Issues Log
• Partner with account team to manage client expectations and scope

WHAT YOU NEED / QUALIFICATIONS:
• Education: Bachelor's Degree
• Skills: Problem solving, critical thinking, oral and written communications
• Exposure / experience with one or more of the following:
o Project management
o Consulting environment
o Life sciences / biotech industry
o IT systems / data / analytics
o Marketing / marketing operations
• Fit to our culture and key values: innovation, accountability, customer, team
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Is it a hybrid role?: No - It is a PM role, but they need to have the BA hat to take a step back and see how it affects the overall project. Manager is open to considering applicants who have strong BA backgrounds and can do the PM side of it (as long as they have some PM experience)
- Are the PM or BA skills more important? PM skills are most important
- What is the project? Technology implementations in client settings. Will be dealing with anything from a marketing automation tool to a dashboarding tool
- PMP required? No, but nice to have
- Is Agile or scrum experience needed? No
- Manager is looking for about 6-7 years' experience
The manager said someone who has worked in a client or customer setting would be ideal. They should know how to engage with a client and have those soft skills.

1) 6-7 years of Project Management experience - Need client/customer facing experience, strong understanding of data analytics, prior implementation and/or migration experience needed

3) Ability to understand when there is a barrier to accomplishing a goal or meeting a milestone and the overall impact
4) Need to be able to understand business requirements and translate them to the technical teams. The requirements will be captured by the engagement manager on the account, but then they will give it to the PM to relay to the team
