Volt is looking for qualified candidates for an Account Receivable position with our client located in Wayne, PA. The company uses its experience in recovery to design, build and run production environments that are resilient and available.Qualified candidates ONLYEssential Function of the Job
(45%) collection of outstanding aged A/R for an assigned group of accounts in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all A/R items. Strive to meet or exceed departmental goals.
(25%) Interact with Contract Administration/Billing Departments and Sales to resolve billing and termination issues. Interaction could include various levels of management within various departments. Identify obstacles and either facilitates resolutions using employee empowerment or use escalation to higher levels of management.
(10%) Assist in the reduction of "on account" cash and open credits. Take a proactive approach in resolving the issue in order to keep these items to a minimum acceptable level.
(10%) Communicate and interact with A/R management on all potential issues in a timely manner.
(5% Involvement with other activities the relate to the enhancement of the A/R department, which may also include process improvement.
Receives direction and instructions on new assignments from A/R supervisor and or management team, however is expected to operate independently within a sphere of responsibility. Requirements:
(2/3 years with college degree or 7+ years with relevant work experience.
Proficient in data entry, PAC's, Word Processing programs and spreadsheet software
Good problem solving kills with an analytical background
Good telephone skills with a professional approach
Detail oriented with strong organization skills
Able to multi-task and manage a heavy and varied workload Preferred:
Knowledge of mainframe of LAN based accounting system.
