The TRAAC Janitor/Maintenance person is responsible for keeping the building and grounds clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Work schedule is 20 hours per week, 4 hours per day in late afternoons or evenings, Monday thru Friday.
Qualifications:
Basic mechanical skills
Ability to read and understand cleaning product instructions and safety warnings
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to climb stairs
Ability to climb a 6’ ladder
Ability to use basic cleaning tools, including mops, brooms, vacuums, etc.
Responsibilities:
Keep the building clean on a daily basis, including:
Cleaning of bathrooms
Sweep and mop the kitchen floor
Remove trash from offices and public spaces
Wipe/sanitize high-touch surfaces, such as door handles, railings, etc.
Sweep, mop and vacuum flooring as needed
Pick up trash in parking lot
Perform basic maintenance, including but not limited to:
Replace lightbulbs
Fill water softener
Touch up paint
Repair flooring
