Are you looking for a local forklift position with great benefits and a set schedule? We are seeking full time 1st and 2nd shift Forklift Operators for a large furniture manufacturer in East Greenville, PA. Overtime may be offered during peak production times.The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of current sit down and stand up forklift experience.This position is a 9 month temporary contract. Contracts may be extended, and permanent placement may be offered to the best candidates.Responsibilities:Responsibilities vary depending on the area of the warehouse where you work. Responsibilities could include, but are not limited to, the following:-Drive a forklift to lift and move heavy goods -Perform tasks associated with moving goods from one place to another -Load and unload trucks-Supply production areas with product-Remove finished goods to a warehouse storage area-Lift 35-50lbs regularly, bending, standing for 8+ hours a day-Repeated motions -Use power tools/hand tools-Packing, labeling, boxing-Use of RF scanners-Counting piecesWorking hours: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PMSkills:-Keen attention to detail -Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment-Work as part of a team and independently -Must be able to lift up to 35-50lbs repeatedly-Comfortable standing for an entire shift (8+ hours)-Willing to work overtime when required-Ability to read, speak and understand EnglishEducation:High SchoolExperience:ExperiencedQualifications:-Willing to submit to a background check and drug screen-Should have a HS Diploma/GED-Ability to read, write, and communicate in English -Reliable transportation to East Greenville, PA-6 months safe and verifiable forklift experience in the last 18 months-Sit down and stand up forklift experience preferred Overtime may be offered during peak production times.This position is a 9 month temporary contract.
