Must have reliable transportation for this location.You will be required to take a pre-employment assessment, which evaluates mechanical and problem-solving skills.Entry Level position for a precision Electroplater, in a state of the art Facility. This position produces precision grinding wheels by electroplating nickel and abrasives onto custom precision machined wheels. Facility precision grinding wheels are used in the aerospace, automotive, and motion industries.Schedule: Mon. ? Fri. 7:00 am - 3:30 pmPay rate: 18 hrResponsibilities:Process parts through process by follow established nickel plating processes and proceduresSets up machines, loads raw material into machines, manually operates machines, and unloads finished product from machineWorks from written or verbal instructions and general operating procedures, which requires the application of some judgment and selectivityComplete daily data and tracking logsVisual inspection of product to identify any problems or errorsTroubleshoot production problems and quality issuesMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow prescribed safety regulationsPerform other duties as assignedPossible exposure to NickleManual Skill: Ability to lift 30+ lbsRepetitive motions, including lifting and turningTools & Equipment:Safety shoes, hearing protection, respirators, safety glasses, gloves, etc.Qualifications:High school diploma or GEDBasic data entry and computer proficiency preferredBasic math skillsGood hand-eye coordination and manual dexterityHigh attention to detailAbility to work independentlyCandidate will consent to:Criminal background checkDrug testingAttire must be presentable and appropriate for the working environmentVolt has a talented and optimistic staffing team focused on the quality of your career.Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
