Our client is embarking on a large strategic project to implement a new Payroll and Time/Attendance system in their North America Business and is in need of an Associate Project Manager.
As an Associate Project Manager, you will manage the daily execution of the program and ensure that critical activities are delivered on time across all workstreams. You will be responsible for tracking critical program milestones, and regular and accurate status reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with key program stakeholders and ensure day to day delivery across the workstreams
Review project deliverables ensuring timely completion of milestones by respective worksteam leads
Track & review the status of the program against the integrated implementation plan
Produce weekly and monthly program performance reports, including exec level presentations
Manage the program RAID log and actively follow up open risks, issues, actions and decisions - owning the escalation process for critical issues
Conduct deep-dive risk and issue sessions as required
Facilitate recurring program meetings and ensure clear communication of meeting outcomes (risks, issues, actions and decisions)
Conduct regular project plan assessments and manage preparation of program working sessions - including milestone reviews to ensure readiness and quality of the projects
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required
A minimum of 5 years' project management / PMO experience - Project Management qualification a plus
Experience of working in a large payroll project a plus
Excellent project planning and time management skills
Ability to work with cross-functional teams - able to influence program team members and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
Good MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills
Excellent presentation preparation skills using power point - suitable for exec level presentations
Proven track record of following through on commitments
Support the PMO team by drafting custom project quotes, updating the project tracking system, coordinating invoicing, providing customer and commercial project updates.
