Pulse Integration, a WEPCO company, is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to play an integral role in the finance department. This position is responsible for customer invoicing, project costs & profitability, accounts payable, and expense reimbursements. Other duties include, but are not limited to, sales tax reporting, time management and expense, posting journal entries, and month end close. The Accountant will coordinate efforts with finance staff, Project Managers and Project Engineers and must have experience developing and implementing accounting procedures, minimizing multiple points of data entry.
Requirements:
Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting or related field;
3-5 yrs, prior experience as staff or senior accountant or similar role;
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP);
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and especially Excel);
Experience in Microsoft Dynamics GP helpful, but not required;
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
Strong organizational skills, prioritizing work in order to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment; and
Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screen.
