Job Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: Performing an array of healthcare janitorial duties to enhance the environment by maintaining assigned area. You shall accomplish this by following healthcare cleaning and trash handling protocols in a professional manner while meeting service standards.
CRITICAL TASKS:
General environmental cleaning and upkeep of health care facility which includes cleaning of patient or discharged rooms, waiting rooms, nursing stations, and public restrooms.
Handling various waste streams according to procedures.
Collecting trash and mopping floors.
Works with approved chemicals and cleaners and power equipment properly.
Performs supplemental cleaning duties as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
Previous experience in environmental services/Janitor. Healthcare setting preferred.
Ensuring the very best patient/family customer service experience.
Fosters a positive, cooperative, and supportive attitude while performing duties to meet goals and objectives.
Outstanding customer service skills.
Willingness and flexibility to assume a variety of department assignments based on need.
Ability to work independently as well as a team member.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
