The Factory in Wilkes Barre is looking for someone to assist in various areas of our showroom displays and upkeep. The position involves doing general re-wiring of lamps in our workshop, displaying new lighting fixtures, and doing general showroom maintenance. We are looking for someone who is mechanically inclined and enjoys working with their hands. Prior repair experience is preferred.
The position will range between 10-20 hours per week and offers scheduling flexibility. Weekend hours on Saturday and Sunday are preferred. Weekday hours are also available and can be flexible based on your schedule. This is a great opportunity as a part-time position.
Responsibilities and Duties:
General repair and re-wiring of table lamps, floor lamps and lighting fixtures
Helping to display new lamps and lighting fixtures in our showroom
Helping to display furniture and accessories in our showroom
Keeping a neat and organized repair area and stock room
General showroom maintenance
Assisting customers and employees with merchandise pick-ups
Qualifications and Skills:
Prior repair experience is preferred
Must be mechanically inclined
Must be reliable, neat and efficient
Must be able to lift without restriction
Must be able to use a six foot step ladder
