A software company in the Greater Philadelphia area is hiring a Senior Developer to their team. The company powers the marketing, registration, and analytics for golf tournaments around the country.

They are looking for a Lead Developer/Architect with strong object-oriented programming principles and strong experience working with other developers and leading projects. Some front-end experience would be beneficial for this role as their UI is in React. Their software is primarily built in Java 11 and hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). There is a ton of new development with continuous updates to their consumer facing applications, as well as B2B and B2C functions.

This is a smaller company with the ability to make an immediate impact. This role will also be overseeing other Developers and leading projects like the transition to Microservices. They offer a competitive salary and offers full benefits as well.
Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience with Java 8 or 11
  • Prior exposure to AWS
  • Experience with relational databases like MySQL
  • REST APIs
  • Prior experience leading teams/projects
  • Strong Microservices experience
Desired Skills & Experience
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or similar field
  • Experience on the front-end, preferably React
