Little League International in Williamsport, PA is looking to hire a Part-Time Temporary Switchboard Operator to join our administrative team. This temporary position will work mid-May through the end of August and typically follows normal business hours, 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday – Friday and earns $10 - $12 per hour for up to 35 flexible hours per week. While priority will be given to those who can work through the end of August, we will be flexible for the right candidate! All applicants must be willing to comply with all COVID-19 safety protocols and is contingent on all applicable background checks.
This Part-time temporary Switchboard/Receptionist position is responsible for ensuring outstanding customer service for Little League International by operating the telephone switchboard and telecommunications equipment in an efficient and courteous manner. This position will answer the phone in an office environment. This position will also assist guests by answering questions and making them feel welcome. This position will maintain a positive, supportive demeanor with all guests and employees at all times, and will act in alignment to the organization’s culture, image, and core values.

QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or GED
1-2 years of switchboard/receptionist experience
Excellent Customer Service and communication skills via phone, email, and in-person
MS Office experience
Must live within commuting distance to South Williamsport, Pa. 17701
Acute attention to detail
Positive attitude, and willingness to learn new things
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous verifiable experience in a customer service position working with the public
Experience with a cloud-based business phone system
