Pace Analytical Services, Inc., a leading national analytical laboratory is seeking highly motivated candidates for a full-time courier - Field Tech to provide pickup and delivery service in the Greater Williamsport area. Hours are approximately 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday; must be available for some overtime hours.
Responsibilities:
Drive company provided vehicle to deliver bottles and/or pickup client samples.
Provided inventory and restocking of bottles at clients site.
Daily set ups of sampling equipment and flow monitoring.
Daily maintenance of equipment (cleaning and repair).
Construct and install primary flow measurement devices
Assist in packing and shipping bottle orders to clients.
Keep the vans and work area clean and safe.
Assisted with sample treatment and disposal.
Promotes cooperation and teamwork among staff.
Follows Pace Analytical Services, Inc. Policies and Standard Operation Procedures.
Requirements:
Candidate must have a valid drivers license, a clean driving record and be familiar with the area roads.
Must be able to repeatedly lift and move 50 pounds including on stairs.
The individual should be self-motivated, ambitious, hard working, and able to work independently.
A pleasant and professional demeanor is needed to interact with clients and coworkers.
Knowledge of routine maintenance and vehicle care are required. Must be able to change a tire, change wiper blades, check all fluids and tire pressure. Candidate will be responsible for scheduling; oil changes, inspections and other repairs, and maintenance.
Current and applicable computer skills.
Prior experience as a courier is preferred.
