Miller Brother Staffing Solutions has the immediate need of an experienced Delivery Driver in Williamsport.ÂÂ
Pay Rate â $13-$13.75/hour based on experience
Shift: 1st Shift: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm **Hours could vary based on deliveries**
Job Description/Duties
This position is responsible for loading customer orders and driving an open stake body truck 24 foot in length with manual transmission with air brakes. Deliveries will be local but also in metro areas. Candidates will return home each day.Â
Job Duties-
-Must have a valid driverâs license and have reliable transportation
-Must have valid DOT card **we will send candidates to complete this at WorkNet or Med Express post offer**
-Must have previous experience driving trucks
-Seeking candidates that are willing to obtain their CDL Class B eventually
-Most of the driving is local but sometimes will have to drive to metro areas . Will return home each night.
-Must be comfortable driving in heavy traffic and metro areas
-Will be interfacing with clients/customers so this candidate needs to have customer service skills
-Will be loading trucks with orders prior to delivery. They will have to unload orders upon delivery to customers
-Will be taking payments from customers upon delivery and will be responsible for them until they turn them in at the end of the day
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Positive attitude and must be a team player
-Must have clean driving record
-When routes are slow, they will be required to work in the warehouse
- Excellent work history
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds, squat, bend, twist, kneel
