CAD Designer (Truss Designer)
Local truss component manufacture has an immediate opening available in our wood truss components division.
Responsibilities Include:
Reading and interpreting blueprints.
Input and design of floor and roof systems.
Generate and provide accurate pricing for bidding purposes.
Jobsite support, with the aid of the sales department.
Required Skills:
General knowledge of the construction industry.
General knowledge of AutoCad.
Ability to calculate and transfer loads throughout a building design.
Ability to operate a computer, will teach 3D design software built on AutoCad Platform. (Design with MiTek Software)
Ability to communicate with the customer, both written and by phone.
Strong mathematical skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word & Outlook).
