Develops and provides solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope.
Work is often supervised directly or remotely. Follows instructions. Work is intermittently reviewed for overall adequacy and accuracy.
Contributes to completion of routine technical tasks. Failure to achieve results can be detrimental to schedules and programs.
Wide use and/or application of technical principles, theories, and concepts.
Frequent outside customer contacts on routine matters.
50% Oversee and train, Energy Technicians. Assure work is completed correctly, approve hours worked and time off requests. Act as local, on-site program and company representative to customers and contractors; to encourage participation in the program and overcome barriers.
40% Conduct installation of residential energy efficiency upgrades and recommend solutions. Record inspection results, customer and contractor interactions to adhere to program requirements. Provide input and status updates to program staff. Troubleshoot technical problems and issues in accordance with client specifications
5% Travel throughout a defined territory
Additional Job Description
3-5 years relevant industry technical certification/training preferred
High School or Associates Degree
BPI certification preferred
