Medical Biller and Coder

Currently looking for a high-energy Medical Biller and Coder for an opportunity in Rhode Island. Interested candidates should have prior experience within a medical administration role and accounting, collections, cash receipts, and accounts receivables experience.
Responsibilities of the Medical Biller and Coder
Prepare and submit bills using the organization's electronic billing system.
Review and correct billing edits.
Post payments, research, and resolve issues.
Review claims to ensure documentation supports level billed.
Research denied and outstanding accounts for resolution.
Respond timely and accurately to incoming correspondence.
Qualifications of the Medical Biller and Coder
Certified Professional Coder; CPC or CPC-A
Certificate in Medical Billing and Coding
Prior professional billing experience is ideal
Utilization of ICD10 and CPT codes preferred
Strong oral/written communication skills
Multi-tasking abilities
Proficiency with healthcare billing systems and Microsoft Office
Strong attention to detail
