The Customer Service Representative is responsible for working as a team member of the Customer Service Group to be the day to day point person. This position will be the interface with the internal organizations on behalf of the customers, and the person who understands the value of a relationship to the customer. Teaming with other groups, the Customer Service Representative will provide exemplary service to the customer to ensure and increase sales, loyalty and satisfaction.

Responsibilities and Duties:(other duties may be assigned)

Assist in the preparation of sales quotations to customers, regional sales managers, distributors, sales representative, engineers, and contractors.

Responsible for processing and documenting orders from customers, regional sales.

Respond to inquiries from customers, regional sales managers, distributors, sales representative, engineers, and contractors.

Help maintain lead program to insure information is updated and available to sales force.

Coordinate the initial qualification of leads. Distribute qualified leads on a timely basis to the field sales force, distributors and representatives.

Collect and analyze lead status reports from the distributors on a monthly basis and report results to national sales manager.

Provide technical support to customers, regional sales managers, distributors, sales representatives, engineers and contractors.

Prospect for potential applications utilizing construction database. Provide reports to regional Managers, distributors and sales representatives.

Coordinate sales information and technical support to field sales force, distributors and representatives to promote a cohesive focus for the customer.

Ideal candidate should possess the following skills and attributes:

Excellent communication skills, problem solving skills

Excellent with multi-tasking and detailed oriented

Ability to work under pressure in a multi-faceted environment

Able to give and receive constructive feedback

Systems/Applications knowledge a plus, experience with JDE / ability to learn new programs

Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus

Experience supporting a Distribution Channel is a plus
