Job Title: 21st CCLC Site Coordinator

Organization: Connecting for Children and Families

$16 - $19/hour - Full-time

This position will have responsibility for managing and overseeing the 21st CCLC initiative at a middle school and other areas of organizational work and leadership essential to the effective and efficient operation of the 21st CCLC and the execution of its priorities. This is a full time, year round position.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a wide-range of school and community partners to assess community needs and develop a system of support for disadvantaged students and their families through high-quality after-school opportunities.

• Coordinate after school program activities and summer programming by integrating school curriculum to promote positive student outcomes in academic achievement, social/emotional and physical development.

• Develop and administer program initiatives and policies in accordance with state and federal requirements.

• Monitor and implement quality improvement systems to ascertain accountability.

• Oversee Family Engagement Coordinator, Program Assistants, Teachers, Enrichment Instructors and Youth Workers to ensure the quality of the program is maintained.

• Serve as a role model and develop positive relationships with middle school youth.

• Work closely with Principal or designee and Curriculum Advisor on afterschool programs, summer programs and other related school/community events.

• Maintain smooth program logistics, including room assignments, student attendance, snack distribution, track program spending, coordination with school and providers, transportation, computer database and other logistics.

• Administer provider contracts, scheduling and invoices.

• Coordinate and run student showcases, field trips and other family engagement activities.

• Cultivate existing and create new community partnerships to support and sustain program initiatives.

• Participate in professional development opportunities.

• Attend organization wide special events such as the annual meeting and staff retreat.

• Represent 21st CCLC at a wide range of community/school meetings by participating in the 21st CCLC Statewide Network, School Committee Meetings, District Parent Advisory Council, School Improvement Team, PTO and Faculty Meetings.

• Organize and run the 21st CCLC Advisory Committee.

• Collect data necessary for 21st CCLC evaluation activities.

• Assist with grant management and reporting.

Requirements:

• Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Education, Youth Development, Psychology, Social Work or related field.

• Prefer 3-5 years of experience in afterschool programming.

• Experience working with middle school youth.

• Bilingual/Spanish a plus.
