Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Implementing The Creative Curriculum and facilitating age appropiate child development activities, setting appropiate school readiness goals for children birth to 36 months, conducting ongoing developmental assessments using Teaching Strategies GOLD, conducting developmental screenings, encouraging and participating in family engagement initiatives, conducting home visits, creating monthly newsletters and providing a safe, friendly and nurturing early learning environment. Knowledge of Rhode Island Early Learning and Development Standards is expected. Applicants should be creative, outgoing and have effective communications skills for use with children, families and colleagues.
Qualifications: CDA in Infant/ Toddler development, Associate or Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education required.
