Quality Engineer Job Summary:
The successful candidate for the position of Quality Engineer shall be fully capable of performing all job functions and qualifications listed below.
Job Task:
Lead the Quality Assurance oversight for all new production equipment and laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
Work as the QA lead with Operations on new equipment IQ/OQ/PQ including drafting, reviewing and approving IQ/OQ/PQ Protocols and Reports
Work in parallel with Operations for prioritization of new equipment installations and validations.
Draft, Review, and approve change controls to support new equipment validations
Provide guidance on Training for Operations group on newly commissioned equipment and instrumentation.
Writing/Revising SOP's when needed
Review and approval of Quality Systems records including deviations, investigations, change controls, CAPA and non-conformances.
Job Skills:
Must have a commitment to quality excellence Outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Solid knowledge of GMP/GDP requirements
Excellent organizational skills
Computer literate
Excel
Word
Other software as the job dictates
Problem Solver, Self-motivated.
Ability to read technical procedures or government regulations.
Knowledge of Pharma/OTC production environment a plus
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions finished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Effectively manage competing priorities, adaptable to change, multi-tasking, team player
Physical Requirements:
Receive instructions through oral and written communications accurately and quickly.?

Employee will be subject to dust, noise, fumes and odors at times
The physical activity of this position includes, but is not limited to:
Bachelor's degree in Science or related field and or 1-3 years experience in a QA position within a Pharmaceutical environment
Associates Degree in science related field and/or 3-7 years experience in a QA position within a Pharmaceutical environment
High School Diploma with 7-10+ years experience in a QS position within a Pharmaceutical environment
Proven work record to include the ability to perform all the following:
Manage multiple projects in a time sensitive environment. Working knowledge of cGMP, and Quality System Regulations. Problem solving in a time sensitive environment. Ability to interface with all levels within the organization. Ability to train all levels within the organization.
