Informatics Coordinator

Description:
12 months. Hybrid remote and onsite.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategy sessions with stakeholders to discuss and enhance relationships and propose solutions to improve data collection, system functionality, interoperability, data linkages and/or systems integration across programs, security, and system reliability.
  • Lead integration initiatives and report progress to stakeholders
  • Identify and define use cases and interface with program and technology teams on translating requirements to corresponding audience
  • Plan, develop, and coordinate implementation of informatics projects
  • System implementations and product development activities
  • Develop use cases, assess business processes and workflow analyses, and assure adherence to state and federal guidance and regulations for compliance with funding requirements
  • Develop and oversee strategic implementations
  • Analyze information, monitor information quality, and disseminate information through reports, presentations, and communication products
  • Design and implement approval processes
  • Review existing processes and provide coaching and recommendations for improvement
  • Assist in grant and proposal writing
  • Other duties as required


Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 3 years of Public Health experience
  • Ability to apply knowledge of public health initiatives to informatics
  • Experience in program or project management, development, and implementation of information systems
  • Experience with Medicaid Programs
  • Experience with data management and statistical analysis, specifically using secondary data sets
  • Understanding of health information technologies, systems, and standards
  • Familiarity with information technology design, development, and implementation
  • Strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and related software
