Information Governance & eDiscovery Program ManagerDescriptionJOB SUMMARYTheInformation Governance and eDiscovery ProgramManagerassists the legal department in providing enterprise wide direction and supportfor the design, implementation, andenhancement of Textron’s Information Governance and eDiscovery programs. Specifically,the Program Manager oversees day-to-day operations of the programs, manages andassists in the direction of activity for case workup, and proactively anticipatesand directs program changes to support continued compliance with legal changes,technical best practices, and evolving data landscapes in order to further theCompany’s objectives. The ProgramManager partners with internal legal teams, technical staff, IT support teams,and outside counsel to support all phases of eDiscovery.The ideal candidate works independently on multiple, complicated and oftenunrelated legal and governance matters. The Program Manager is a strong communicator,innovator and collaborator who is capable of driving alignment and clarity,proactively managing risk, and growing as a subject matter expert.RESPONSIBILITIES
Spearhead Textron’s cross-functionale-discovery team and develop and manageend-to-end project plans for matters on behalf of counsel, cross-functionalpartners, and stakeholders;
Apply subjectmatter expertise to help develop, implement, automate, and improve in-houseend-to-end eDiscovery processes and procedures;
Contribute toeDiscovery strategic planning and roadmap development;
Help develop andimplement scalable policies, templates, processes, tools and workflows to solveeDiscovery issues, manage risk, and increase operational value and efficiency;
Develop andmaintain expertise in a variety of technical tools for legal matter management,end-to-end eDiscovery, and workflow automation;
Rapidly identify,analyze and address complicated issues, and distill that complexity into simpleand concise communication to influence outcomes in cross-functional settings
Track and analyze data to visualize metrics and drivecontinuous process improvement
Take regulartraining and obtain required certifications in areas eDiscovery, InformationGovernance, and Program ManagementAssist with vendor identification and management, including monitoring ofvendor costs, efficiencies, and practices. Participate as requested in solicitation and review of vendor bids
Serve as theTextron Corporate Office Records Custodian where it is necessary to provide awitness of this nature in litigation
Perform otherduties as assigned
Protect andmaintain the privacy of employee personnel records including, but not limitedto, personal and compensation information about employees

QualificationsEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
4-6 years’ experience in a corporate legaldepartment, a law firm, or with an eDiscovery vendor
Experience with end-to-end eDiscovery toolsets
Track record of exceptional project management
Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS), paralegalcertificate or project manager certification/experience preferred
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

Ability to understand and develop expertise withvarious software applications
