Here, you will make an impact by : Manage a team of analysts who work directly with assigned Performance Advisory Services clients conducting Quality Assurance checks, performing Data analysis and coaching clients on 3M web-based CDI reporting tools Organize training and coordination with Adoption Specialists from the Clinical Solutions Team on best practices for conducting Quality Assurance checks, performing Data analysis and advising Clinician Solutions clients on using the 3M web-based CDI reporting tools Lead or participate in special projects as assigned by Manager / Senior Advisors Supervise / assist team with client onboarding to ensure adherence to standards Manage the team of analysts as they analyze data and recommend solutions for data inconsistencies trends with minimum supervision from senior team Manage the team of analysts in preparation of analysis of client documentation improvement processes and key performance indicators and development of recommendations for improving client documentation processes and results Collaborate with PM Return on Investment lead on identifying and understanding trends between and among clients and recommend changes to consulting content and coaching approaches across clients Ensure team presents analytical results in an organized and meaningful approach Apply documentation and coding rules / regulations for DRG and APR DRG assignment when reviewing and analyzing data Perform additional duties as assigned Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications : Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution OR Associate degree from an accredited institution with one or more of the following certifications : RHIT / RHIA and / or RN License in lieu of the Bachelor's degree education Seven (7) combined years of experience analyzing and processing healthcare data, identifying anomalies and / or recommending corrective courses of action Four (4) combined years of experience in healthcare finance, clinical nursing and / or hospital coding Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include : Bachelor's Degree in nursing, physical or biological science or a business or health information degree.
Possess skills in data collection and analysis Ability to identify data anomalies and suggest corrective courses of action Five years of consulting experience or comparable experience that demonstrates expert skills in healthcare data analysis, report writing and verbal presentations In-patient Coding, Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) or chart audit experience Proven track record in successful client relationships including, but not limited to, add on sales and / or positive client references for 3M Location : Atlanta or any 3M HIS Office or Remote Travel : Minimal Relocation Assistance : Is not authorized Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.
