Designing reusable Java components, frameworks and libraries
Working closely with architecture and devops groups and driving solutions in Infrastructure Monitoringa and APM
Troubleshooting production support issues post-deployment and drive solutions
Demonstrating substantial depth of knowledge and experience Java development UNIX, SQL, RDBMS, Hbbase, Hive, Sqoop, Pig, Splunk and Signalfx
3-5+ consecutive years in the software engineering profession
3+ years hands-on expertise with UNIX shell scripts and commands
3+ years hands on expertise with SQL writing queries
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver professional level technical work in support of the development of company products, tools, platforms and services, typically for an internal production operations team as an end user
Operates within established methodologies, procedures, and guidelines
Applies knowledge of principles and techniques to solve technical problems
Works with less structured, more complex issues
Be an active participant on the Scrum team
Utilize solid development skills and gain an understanding of software architecture
Required Qualifications:
3-5+ years of experience in the software engineering profession
Agile development methodology experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with clinical data (and / or clinical standards i.e. HL7, FHIR, CCD)
Experience working within the Spring / SpringBoot framework
Ability to work in a fast paced, fluid environment while maintaining adherence to standards and best practices
Experience with Cloud technologies
Familiarity with DevOps practices
