Barrington Books in Garden City Center is Rhode Island's newest resource for new and high-quality used music on vinyl. With new arrivals daily, we can't keep up! Looking to hire an assistant audiophile to help curate and grow this exciting category.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensures vinyl department is clean, organized and well stocked with product
- Communicates regularly with management to process new inventory of new and used vinyl
- Familiarity with vinyl record grading and pricing practices
- Experience Processing and listing inventory on DISCOGS a MUST
- Examines prospective collections for purchase
- Cleans and enters all vinyl inventory into computer based inventory management/POS system
Qualifications:
- Friendly and collaborative attitude
- Interest in and knowledge of music
- Able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexible availability a must
