Supporting the team by scheduling and facilitating scrum ceremonies, such as standups, grooming, knowledge sharing, and retrospectives.
Assessing the teams’ Agile Maturity and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team
Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information
Working with the Scrum of Scrum Masters to collaborate and coordinate swarming and organization improvement across scrum teams
Working with Agile Coaches as mentors and participating in communities of practice
Required skills:
At least 1 year working in a Scrum Master role for a software development team applying Agile principles
Excellent communication and mentoring skills
Enthusiasm for using modern team communication tools to embrace collaboration and advocate transparency, Microsoft Teams preferred (Slack, Flowdock also acceptable)
Experience with Agile project tracking tools, CA Rally preferred (JIRA also acceptable)
Knowledge of patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach(example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc)
Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games
