JOB DESCRIPTION
Title: Dishwasher
Reports to: Kitchen Manager
Summary of Position: The Dishwasher is responsible for ensuring customer happiness
and maintaining health standards with clean, spot free dishes and utensils.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Practice and embody core values.
Conduct yourselves in all matters of the kitchen with maturity and positivity.
Ensure that all dishes, glassware, smallware and cookware are kept clean and
ready for use.
Fill in when needed to ensure efficient kitchen operation.
Ensure that all equipment and fixtures are kept clean and in excellent working
condition by following daily cleaning schedules.
Assist Management in keeping the kitchen, basement and outdoor areas clean and
appealing for customers and staff.
Qualifications:
Positive attitude
Work well in fast paced setting
Possess strong organizational and decision-making skills
Available to work evenings and weekends.
Communicate clearly and effectively.
Be able to reach, bend, stoop, go up and down stairs and lift up to 50 pounds.
Be able to endure long periods of standing and walking.
Must have exceptional hygiene and grooming habits.
Able to take direction from Kitchen Manager
Knowledge:
A minimum of 2 years of experience.
ServSafe or other recognized hygiene qualification required.
Working Conditions:
Long periods of time standing/walking
Flexible and changing working hours
Daytime, evening and weekend schedules
