Small artisan bakery looking for baker and operations manager. We produce a selection of pastries for local cafes and coffee shops. We use local, farm fresh ingredients, and produce some of the highest quality pastries available in small controlled batches.
We are looking for someone with experience working independently, able to manage production schedule for the week. You must pay excellent attention to detail and possess an interest in continuous improvement.
Hours are part time flexible (20-30 per week) There is room for scheduling flexibility. Most of our production can be scheduled throughout the week, so working hours can be at anytime.and can change as needed as long as production is completed.
Applicants should have the following qualifications:
Have baking experience
Dedication to cleanliness
Be detail oriented
Ability to follow directions
Be able to work independently
Possess preternatural baking instincts
Have experience working in food service
ServSafe certified
Be curious
Like dogs
Duties will include:
Mixing batters and doughs.
Cooking fillings for quiche
Laminating dough
Portioning muffins, cookies, bars, quiche,
Baking cookies/pastries for delivery
Packaging goods
Delivery to local businesses
Dishes/sweeping/mopping
Creating grocery lists
Grocery shopping
Receiving deliveries
We are a very small facility. Our ingredients are local, fresh, organic and must be handled with respect. Our customers are demanding and expect only the highest quality.
