I am a 56 year old disabled engineer living at home.
My wife works and we need to fill several shifts including a weekday and weekends.
I need hoyer transfers to and from bed with a simple electric unit. I am on a ventilator and also need suctioning every once and a while. Vent experience is
great but not required. We will be happy to train as we have done with other CNAs and caregivers.
CNA experience required including hoyer use, bathing and dressing the disabled.
Duties are bathing in a chair (morning shifts only), tube feeding and chair adjustments. I have ALS but I still do computer
work after the morning routine so I am fairly independent most of the day, but also enjoy interacting with my caregivers.
If you are interested in a bit of valuable learning and working in a nice environment on the East Side with a great team of people,
please reply with questions and availability. Experience Summary and References requested and a RI BCI is required. Recent Covid vaccination is required.
These are the alternating week shifts we need to fill:
Week 1:
Friday 1p-9p
Saturday 10am-7pm
Week 2:
Sunday 10am-7pm
The end times can be adjusted plus or minus an hour. Additional shifts are available from time to time.
Pay Rate: $25/hour
