Work Schedule:
- After training the shift will be 1PM - 9:30 PM during the week
- 12:00PM - 8:30PM on the weekend day (1 weekend shift will be assigned weekly)
- Training schedule Mon- Fri 9-5:30
Duration: 6-month contract with potential for permanent hire
Position Summary:
As a Patient Support Specialist, you will work to resolve patient billing and insurance inquiries, as well as respond to patient inquires related to visits, treatments and services. You will be responsible for answering incoming calls related to Minute Clinic visits, patient billing statements, issues related to possible customer reimbursements, resolving patient payment concerns related to Minute Clinic claims, and other general inquiries.
Responsibilities:
Providing concise medical and prescription information in accordance with HIPAA compliance requirements
Recent visits, follow up inquiries, and medical records
Work with other areas within MinuteClinic to obtain the necessary information to resolve patient concerns
Insurance billing issues, and all service related inquires while ensuring the utmost level of customer satisfaction in accordance to CVS Health's values.
Preferred Qualifications:
Inbound call center experience in a high-volume or fast-paced customer service setting
Healthcare billing experience and experience explaining coverage to patients
Providing medical assistance in an environment such as a family practice or urgent care
Knowledge of medical terminology
Experience with electronic medical records and data entry
Required Qualifications
1+ years of customer service experience required
1+ years using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook in a professional or academic setting
Education:
Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree a plus
